1. The Challenge
- Old installation and old technology platform they needed to update, including hardware and software, not only JD Edwards.
- JD Edwards official localization not available. There was a need to design and develop a JDE localization for Uruguay as a solution that could be maintained by ITCROSS after the implementation.
- Previous development of tax-related custom solutions that did not meet Oracle development best practices meant a high retrofit risk.
- Strong budget limitation, which posed a significant challenge for the project.
